The name of the Hic Bibitur Restaurant was borrowed from the word-famous book by Francois Rabelais "Gargantua and Pantagruel". In Latin it means "here they drink". But it is not only the name of the restaurant that reminds of the work by Rabelais, but also the interiors of the venue.
The Hic Bibitur Restaurant is designed as a rich medieval mansion with massive furniture, stained glass windows and wall paintings. Only the TV screen demonstrating the sport programs reminds of modern times. The restaurant consists of one hall intended for up to 90 guests.
The menu of the restaurant offers traditional dishes of European cuisine as well as delicacies prepared by chef according to old recipes. The special offers of the restaurant are ravioli made of veal and mushrooms under flaky pastry in a pot, stuffed carp with white mushrooms, and "landez", which consists of thin slices of various ingredients organized in layers. The menu offers meat, vegetable, fish and even fruit landezes.
The wine cellar shows the best correlation with the name of the restaurant. It contains exquisite wines from France, Italy, Spain and Chili.
