The Acapulco Restaurant situated in Petrovka Street is a corner of Mexican culture in the very center of Moscow. The interior of the restaurant recreates the setting and atmosphere of a traditional Mexican saloon and features massive wooden furniture, national paintings on the walls, cactuses and cowboys' saddles decor and a red-brick fireplace. The Acapulco has two halls seating 120 and 50 people. In the center of the main hall there is a bar surrounded by comfortable tables. The second hall that is more chamber-like is meant for those who prefer cozy romantic atmosphere. There is a fireplace and pleasant background music. The Acapulco menu represents national Mexican cuisine in its variety. The visitors are offered a great choice of snacks and salads; chicken wings with different sauces, Yukateka beans and Nodal salad with pickled cactus are among them. The menu boasts traditional Mexican dishes such as Enchiladas, Quesadillas, Burritos (corn or wheat slat cakes with various stuffing), several varieties of soups (original soup "Drunk beans" among them), speciality fajitas with meat, vegetables and seafood and original desserts. Various beer sorts, Mexican tequila and Cuban rum are available. Daily since 9 p.m. the restaurant holds Latin American shows and concerts of Mexican guitar music. The dance floor of the main hall is used for discos. For all comers there are free Latin American dance lessons.
